Join us for one worship service at 11:00 a.m. and dinner on
the grounds at noon. You may bring a picnic for your family,
or purchase a box lunch. Box lunches must be purchased in
advance, and are available for $5.00 at the Sunday
receptionist desk (Prayer room). |

Pastor encourages participation in
membership decision
Dr. Somerville sent a letter to members of the
congregation this week asking them to participate in the decision to change the
church's membership policy. A business meeting for that purpose is scheduled for
Sunday, September 19 at 9:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary. A discussion session
is scheduled for Wednesday, September 8 at 6:15 p.m.

Divorce Recovery Workshop
Begins Sunday, September 26 at 6:00 p.m.
Divorce is tough enough. Separation, divorce, major breakup? Why go through it

You can help minister to "New
Americans"
First Baptist Church has a ministry of helping "New
Americans" - refugees from Bhutan who regularly resettle in Richmond. Some
arrive with little more than the clothes on their backs. There are many ways to
get involved and help with this ministry. Click here
