Scholarship awards take into consideration
the following: Applicants should be a church member
(2 years), a Watchcare associate, or an active minor
whose parent(s) or guardian(s) are FBC members.
(The committee will review special situations.) Each
applicant should be accepted in an accredited
college, university, or technical school. Contact

The deadline to apply for a FBC scholarship for 2012 was May 6, 2012.
In addition to the FBC scholarship fund, applicants may also want to consider

opportunities offered through the
Baptist General Association of Virginia.
- The 2012 Anne B. Taliaferro Scholarship offered through
The Community Foundation. This scholarship supports graduating high school seniors who are communing members of First Baptist Church. Scholarships range up to $5,000 and maybe renewable. Eligibility criteria and an application form can be accessed by
