Mary Hiteman has been the administrator of the Weekday Early Education Preschool
at FBC since 1982.
She attended the University of New Mexico and PSCE (Presbyterian School of
Christian Education). Ms. Hiteman brings more than 30 years of experience with young children
and families to this ministry.
The Weekday Preschool is one of FBC?s outreach ministries and serves as not
only a developmentally appropriate educational program but offers many other
opportunities for young families. These include:
- Yearly home visits
- Monthly mission projects
- Weekly Chapel Services
- Special Pre-k program for that important year before a child enters kindergarten
- First Sprouts Gardening Program
- Partnership with ASK to provide First STEP?a preschool program for children with cancer
- Summer Solution camp each June
