Minister of Youth
First Baptist Church, Richmond, VA
Principal functions:
Provide a safe place for youth (grades 6-12) to belong, to be
loved and accepted, and to explore what it means to have a personal relationship
with Jesus Christ. He/she will partner with the Youth Ministry Team and Youth
Council to provide a well–balanced Christian formation program for youth,
helping them to discover and develop their spiritual gifts, and to guide and
equip them in using those
gifts and other interests and abilities in the mission of Christ through First
Baptist Church.
Qualifications:
-
Exceptional
relational skills with youth of all ages and their parents.

Proven leadership in
developing ministries of invitation, formation, worship, community, and
compassion
-
Demonstrated ability
to collaborate effectively with fellow staff.

Masters degree from
an accredited seminary required.

relates to the Richmond Baptist Association, the Baptist General Association of
Virginia, and the Baptist World Alliance, and supports missionaries through the
Southern Baptist Convention and the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship.
